Sharon Corfield is a graduate of the University of Warwick with a BA Honours degree with QTS and specialism in English. She has been a teacher for 12 years teaching across all Primary age groups but specialises in Key Stage 2. She is a passionate, child-centred and inspiring facilitator of learning.
Before joining LCIS in August 2016, Sharon taught in Warwickshire (UK) for 11 years where her teaching was consistently graded as 'outstanding'. Subsequent to an Ofsted inspection Sharon was appointed as a Leading Literacy teacher for Warwickshire. Her leadership roles included Key Stage 2 Leader, Year 6 Teacher, Maths Co-ordinator and Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Sharon thoroughly enjoys walking, literature and theatre, and spending time with friends and family.
