Hannah Smith began her interest in helping people learn and develop from an early age, becoming part of the sport leader community at 13 helping with hockey umpiring and teaching sailing. Hannah pursued many sports at school; hockey, dance, swimming and Karate to a high standard! Hannah then went on to deliver a sailing programme year round whilst completing her A Levels. At age 17 she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the MS Trust.
Her passion for the outdoors resulted in a First Class Honours in Outdoor Leadership from the University of Central Lancashire with publications in the Journal of Qualitative Research in Sports Studies. She has several national governing body qualifications, one year’s experience in a National Centre of Excellence for Sport Scotland and a summer on the sea.
Hannah decided to follow her dream to help students learn, and thrive to their true potential. She joined La Côte International School to run and expand the adventurous activities for the students.
