World Class teacher

As a school community we would like to offer our congratulations to Lukas Siska who has qualified to represent the Slovak team at the World Athletics Championships in Doha. Lukas has already had some notable successes in the sport but this will take his participation to the highest possible level.

As part of his preparation, Lukas will now begin training in the UK with Olympic medalists Jonathan and Alistair Brownlee and Slovakia’s own Richard Varga. Unfortunately for BISB this means that Lukas will no longer be able to continue with us as a sports coach and teacher.

Therefore we would like to take the opportunity to thank Lukas for all his hard work in the PE department and sports team over the last two years and wish him the very best of luck for the future. Lukas has been a very popular teacher and member of staff and as a world class athlete has been a great role model for our students.

Good luck to him in the World Championships.
