BISB success at Maths Olympiad

CONGRATULATIONS go to the 20 students who took part in the Maths Olympiad. All their hard work and preparation added up on the day. This is what Tom wrote.

“On Saturday  29th November 2014 BISB competed in the QSI Maths Olympiad.  At the competition there were 35 schools that had entered and 135 students participated. In the 11 year-old competition the A Team won a silver and a bronze medal whilst the B Team won 2nd place overall. The 12 year-old  team worked brilliantly on their problem solving tasks although did not win any medals. The most successful teams were in the 13 year-olds, where the B team won 3rd place overall and the A team won the whole competition! Everyone’s brain had to work really hard at the competition. Thank you to Mr. Warmington and Mr. Euell for organising the trip.”
