Tips for the weekend - Danubiana Art Gallery

Dear Parents and Students
Mrs Eastwood and Ms Freeman recently visited the Danubiana Meulensteen Art Gallery just south of Cunovo, and can thoroughly recommend it for a good day out!

The gallery is a smart, new, spacious building built on the river Danube. It hosts modern art, which is by no means just pictures, there are some very interesting interpretations. Some exhibits and sculptures are also outside on the banks of the Danube.
Mrs Eastwood and Ms Freeman were particularly impressed by the quality of the cakes in the café, which is worth a visit alone!
We hope that you might venture there for an excellent day out. The gallery can be reached by car, by the bus no.90 from Eurovea (hourly) or by boat in the summer months. For more information visit the website: www.danubiana.eu
