Brownie Sleepover

Last Friday 8 very excited brownies crept back into school and put on their pyjamas as they took part in the Brownie Sleepover in the school hall.  The girls all had lots of fun working on their craft badge. They created their own papers using paint, glitter and marbling. When the paper had dried they used it to make rolled paper beads, which they will use to make their own jewellery.

They decorated a glass each using special glass paint and designed and painted their own door hanger. In the evening they worked together to create their own delicious pizzas and decorated biscuits that we ate whilst watching a movie. In the morning, after a surprising amount of sleep, the girls cracked and whisked eggs to help make Snowy Owl's favourite Brownie Breakfast - eggybread!

Here's what the girls thought:
I really LOVED all the arts and craft. Mara (4A)
I like the eggybread we made for breakfast! Sara (3C)
I loved making the pizza but I preferred eating it! HyeRi (4B)
I like decorating the cookies, but I was most pleased with my marbling because it's really cool and colourful. Stella (4B)

If your child is interested in joining Brownies, they need to be a girl aged 7 - 10, you can gain more information by contacting Brown Owl on pauline.mably@bisb.sk or Snowy on sarah.cook@bisb.sk, or look out for the club handbook coming soon...
