Goethe Institut

On 30th November, the last day of this autumn month, our German groups spent their final class outside, enjoying the beautiful sunny weather. We left school in the morning while the sun was still rising and came back before lunch time when the sun was at its peak. The journey itself was a lot of fun especially in the tram and walking in the old town in pairs. Everybody was excited about what was waiting for us at the Goethe Institute..

When we arrived at our destination, we were introduced to the people there, who showed us a presentation about the job of the institute....  in German, of course. We were involved in the presentation, and were asked questions and asked to discuss in pairs different topics. Then we split into two groups, one group watched a film in German and answered questions based on the plot and characters. The other group was listening to German music and doing different kinds of quizzes.

Overall the students liked the trip and would like the teachers to provide them with more outside classes like this.
