FAME Jr Musical

Three performances allowed parents and classmates to enjoy the musical talents and dancing prowess that our students from Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 have showcased.  Transported back to the 1980s with music and images, we watched four years at The New York High School of Performing Arts unfold, telling individual stories of success and heartache. Outstanding performances including: "Let's Play a Love Song", "There She Goes" and "Mabel's Prayer" along with a real life "Teacher's Argument" the like of which you would never see in the staffroom.

This production can claim some BISB theatrical "firsts":  the first performance in the small gym, which is currently being redeveloped as a performance space, and the first performance that has been live streamed and viewed by friends and relatives across Europe (albeit with not-so-perfect sound!).  Sadly it will also mark the last musical under the professional musical directorship of Mrs Dulcie Kellner, who has established a fine musical tradition in the school over the past six years.
We now look forward to watching these talented young performers grow in future productions, musicals, plays and concerts.
