Forest School

Magical, mysterious forest

Last week children from the Nursery and EYFS went through the tourist trail deep into the mysterious, magical forest, where they discovered a lot of interesting things.

Wild boars used their snout for finding food. They left behind a quantity of unearthed roots, seeds and beechnuts. On the trees they observed parasitic fungi, leaves, slugs and snails.

They cooked soup for fairies in a big pond! It was all great fun!

Feeding birds in the EYC

Bird houses are fun to make and attract many nesting birds around the White House playground so we set made our own.

Crows, magpies, wrens, woodpeckers and many other types will definitely appreciate our enthusiastic attitude, helping to feed them during these cold days.

Children from the EYC made bird treats from peanut butter and a variety of seeds - “Sweet treats” - enjoy them, birds!
