Pop Pop Popcorn!

Last week during Forest school, children from Reception discovered fire as a form of matter. They learned that popcorn was a food for Indians over 5000 years ago.

What a great idea! Through this session, 27 little Indians were sitting around the fire and impatiently waiting for popping the corn. When it finally happened, there was no greater joy. Pop, pop, popcooorn!!!  Yum, yum… how incredible the taste was!

This week, we started to create Magic Winter Garden for fairies and trolls from bulbs of tulips, daffodils and hyacinth. “What is a bulb?” and “Do you know any common plants that are grown from bulbs?” These are the questions which even some of Reception children can answer. Very well done!
