Pi Day results

Last week we said goodbye to the Year 11s at their final assembly of the year and presented prizes to the winners of the Digits of Pi competition which took place in March. These were the best performers in each year group:

Year 7 - Bomin Ryu, 85 digits
Year 8 - Filip Baranec, 49 digits
Year 9 - Daniel Mistrik, 99 digits


... and the best overall result was a new school record set by Yu Wang of Year 11 with a mind-blowing 465 digits recited correctly!!!

It was amazing to witness this and interesting to hear from Yu Wang about how he memorises the numbers.
