Year 2 Trip

Year Two had a soggy but fun start to the week when they travelled to the Morava River Delta, near Devin, to study the flora and fauna of the wetlands around the area.  This was the rounding off of our topic, Under the Sea, where we have been learning all about habitats found under water.

Although the weather was wet we had a great time pond dipping, finding interesting creatures, and trekking into the flood plain forest to look at the evidence left by animals all around us.  Well done Year Two for being resilient and having a good time despite the weather.  Thanks to the parents who were invaluable help.
