Global Campus Success

This has been a hugely busy year for the Nord Anglia Education Global Campus at BISB and a very successful one too!

We are delighted to announce our Upper Secondary Debate Team have won the 2016 Debate League Final against the British School of Beijing. The team has had a strong leader in IB1 student Barbora Smirinova, who brought a great deal of experience to our team. This is the second time in the 3 years of the competition that we have won the final (we were winners in 2014, Runners Up in 2015) and we are very proud of our debaters.

At the time of writing we are still awaiting the result of the Primary League, where our team ‘Best of Bratislava: BOB’ are looking like favourites for a win.

Congratulations to all our Debaters and, indeed, to our Creative Writers, Artists, Rube Goldberg builders, Charity Fund Raisers, Online Contributors, Shakespeare Performers, Lego Designers, Language Learners, History Challenge Contributors… and everyone else who has participated in the Global Campus this year!

Don’t forget the Global Campus Photographer of the Year Competition is live now. The competition is open to ALL students aged 3 and above. Details of categories can be found on the Global Campus competition area. The theme this year is Nature and we would love to return in September to see what students have managed to snap during the holidays!
