Pyjama Party in Reception

Do you sleep during the day? The baby owls in the story 'Owl Babies' do!

Reception children held a daytime pyjama party to learn about nocturnal animals who sleep during the day and are awake all night.

The children wrote a letter to their parents listing the things they would need to bring to the party. Pyjamas, teddy bear, book, tooth brush.

On the day of the party they changed in to their pyjamas all by themselves. Then they enjoyed some delicious hot chocolate and a biscuit before brushing their teeth.

Mrs Vincent came to the party especially to read a bedtime story. Then it was time to get comfortable and go to 'sleep'.
