Teaching and Learning Assistant Year 5

I have always had a passion for English so I went to UK to improve it. After I came back I’ve worked as an English lecturer in 2 language schools in Prague, Czech Republic. My students were mostly children between the age 5-15. Later I was asked to work for English Kindegarten as a substitute teacher.

Choosing BISB meant that I could fulfil my passion for working with children in an English speaking environment in my own country.

Growing up in a family with a passion for music. My grandfather, Tibor Freso, was a Slovak Composer and Conductor. I would watch him as a child conducting his own piece that he composed for the Ballet “A bug was born”, which is still being performed at the Slovak National Theatre. My dad played in several rock bands since he was 16 and still does. I used to play the piano when I was little but I left it to take up skydiving.

At the moment I’m learning to play the violin. I hope one day I could try and play with an orchestra.

Besides music I love taking photographs, going to the theatre, taking walks in the woods with my friends.

What the students say about me

“I love your hair” (Teo)

“She is kind and beautiful” (Abbi)

“I like her and she likes me” (Julianna)
