Mathematics and Physics Teacher and Year 10/11 IGE Form Tutor

A British trained teacher of Science and Geology from the University of Exeter, Rob specialises in Physics having attained a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Salford. He taught for many years in the UK and was Head of Science in a school in Liverpool for 13 years. During this time he was an examiner for GCSE Physics and a coursework moderator for GCSE Science.

Before coming to Bratislava he lived in Shanghai for 6 years, teaching Physics up to IB AHL level at the British International School in Shanghai where he was also Pastoral Head of Year 7. He has now been in Bratislava for 3 years and lives in Stupava with his family. 

Rob is a keen traveller and has visited most countries in Europe and Asia as well as Australia, Canada and the USA and is looking forward to going to Tanzania with the school this year. He is an avid reader and usually has at least two books on the go at any one time. He attended primary and secondary school in Hong Kong and many years ago he worked as a coal miner! He is a trained student counsellor.
