Biology Teacher

After graduating a university course for teaching Biology and ICT in Slovakia, I won a scholarship job for new teachers at Frensham Heights, a private boarding school in England. It was a great learning opportunity for me, and the first time I experienced teaching English curriculum.

When I returned to Slovakia, I was hired at BISB as a Biology teacher. Working at BISB has given me many chances to develop both professionally and personally when teaching my subject or being involved in extracurricular activities such as camping club or the Eco-School project, which I still coordinate at the school. I have enjoyed being involved in giving the students pastoral support as Key Stage 3 Coordinator for several years.

I have seen a lot of changes at BISB over the years. However, two important things have stayed the same – my students are a good fun to teach and they are keen to learn and my colleagues are professionals I can learn from and also friend I can rely on.

I like nature and outdoor activities, so the best place to spend free time for me is either  forest or  garden.

What the students say about me

Miss Pallova is a very good biology teacher. She explains things very well and she is kind.

Miss Pallova is a passionate teacher and she is very helpful.

Students sometimes call me Miss Green.
