Our private primary school curriculum offers the rigour and high standards of the Swiss private education system, with our own focus on preparing your child for many routes ahead. Through a combination of our curriculum, our culture and our values, your child will learn skills, acquire knowledge, and develop respect for others and excellent manners that prepare them to be leaders and team players alike.
Subjects studied during our primary school years include Mathematics, Science, History, Literature and Languages.
Our teaching methods combine the finest traditional approaches to teaching complemented by modern techniques. This means that our approach blends new technologies such as the use of iPads for all children with long-established teaching methods.
As part of Nord Anglia Education all of our teaching staff participate in the Nord Anglia University which ensures familiarity with the latest thinking in teaching.
At grade 4 our teaching becomes bilingual, with some of your child’s classes are in English and some in French. This helps them to perfect their language skills, developing the skills to help them flourish in a global context in later life. Focus is also on learning German.
Progression to secondary school
Our sister private school in Pully teaches students up to age 18, offering three Diploma programmes: the Swiss Maturitéthe, the French Baccalaureate and the International Baccalaureate. Our curriculum follows the same common core curriculum as sister private school in Pully, thereby also preparing students well for any of the diploma programmes in later years and making the transition to our Pully campus an easy move to make.
Students at our private school in Nyon also have the option to continue their education at our sister school La Côte International School in Aubonne where they are able to prepare for their Swiss Maturité exam or the International Baccalaureate.
