Shaun Rhodes : Staff Profile

Shaun Rhodes

Primary Teacher

Shaun Rhodes has a Teaching Degree from the University of Easy London. He Joined NIS from the British International School Shanghai, Puxi, where he was a Team Leader of a year groups.

Biography

Having qualified as a teacher in 2005, Shaun spent two years teaching in Tower Hamlets, East London before embarking on an international teaching journey. Shaun taught for three years at The Regents School, Thailand, a year in Kuwait at The Gulf English School and for six years at The British International School, Shanghai where he was part of the middle management team.

Shaun is a highly motivated educator who is driven in developing individual character in children so that they become inspired and resilient learners in all aspects of life. He values the importance of mastering knowledge and skills while also encouraging children to become critical thinkers and global citizens.
 
Shaun has recently moved to Jakarta with Samantha and their little dog Penelope. He is a keen rugby player and  coach. He is looking forward to the many opportunities Jakarta has to offer including golf, tennis and appreciating the Indonesian cuisine.
