ISR & Parents in Action Preventing Bullying

A Community Based on Respect

ISR & Parents in Action Preventing Bullying is a committee formed by members of our staff and parents in 2013. Their goal is to create anti-bullying strategies, campaigns, and activities in our school, to promote respect among our community.

  • Antibullying campaign

At ISR we take bullying very seriously. One of the key strategies that the committee has implemented is a safe space where students that witness or suffer bullying can make reports.

We have a Discipline Program that follows three steps: Prevention, Action and Resolution. Each case is analyzed individually and consequences are administered according to the situation.

As part of our continuous improvement process, we have recently joined the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. Some of the benefits include constant professional development for our faculty and staff.

If you are a member of the ISR community, we invite you to log in to MYISR and visit our Bullying Resource Page for more information on what you can do to make our school a better place.

Our School's Anti-Bullying Rules

  1. We will not bully others.
  2. We will try to help students who are bullied.
  3. We will try to include students who are left out.
  4. If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.
