PBS and Parent Groups

At San Roberto International School we believe that parents and school make the best team when it comes to a child’s education. We encourage parent participation in school activities as much as possible and provide an array of opportunities to make this happen. Join our groups today!

PBS

Our parents' committee is called Parents for a Better School, and we have one for each campus. This group of parents participates actively throughout the school year as a link between the school and the parents, representing all of the ISR families.

The PBS members are sworn into office at the beginning of the school year and they are the voice of the parent community. They attend meetings with the school heads, participate in school initiatives, and host an array of events that make our community a better place.

PBS Committees

Small groups of parents that help PBS on specific tasks or events throughout the school year.

Homeroom Mothers

Two moms are chosen per classroom and they help PBS in different school initiatives and activities. They also help the communication process between the school and parents in their classroom.

Spiritual Growth Parents

This group teaches the Spiritual Growth classes at ISR. Parents come to the school once a week to teach the class early in the morning and plan their next lessons with the help of our Spiritual Growth department staff.

ISR Values Conference Committee

This group helps our staff to organize and host the ISR Values Conference. Throughout the school year they raise funds, plan, and execute this important event for our community.

ISR and Parents in Action Preventing Bullying

This committee, formed by members of our staff and parents, creates anti-bullying strategies, campaigns, and activities in our school, to promote respect among our community.

Misión Permanente

This group visits the La Gloria community once a month and organizes activities throughout the school year to help the residents of this underprivileged community.

Mothers’ Choir

Led by an ISR music teacher, this group performs during masses and other celebrations.
