Rube Goldberg Machine

Mr McKenna is furious! Hardly any students seem to be able to close a classroom door after they enter, and this makes him MAD. So KS3 Science students they designed a Rube Goldberg machine to close the door automatically instead, and prevent him from losing his cool.
A Rube Goldberg machine is a series of energy transfers, designed to perform a simple task in a very complicated way. Watch the video to see if they managed to close the door!
The students’ design has been entered into Nord Anglia Education’s recent Rube Goldberg design competition on the Global Campus, and students are currently waiting to find out the results. Please enjoy the video!
