Following their SISAC victory last weekend, the NAIS Pudong Division 1 Netball girls have performed strongly, winning their first game against NLCS Jeju 37-3, and just being defeated 17-18 by AIS Hong Kong, but coming back convincing winners against RC Hong Kong 29-8 to complete the day.

The D2 girls had more of a mixed day with a close competition with HKIS, being narrowly beaten 14-16, followed by two losses to KS Hong Kong and Dulwich. Among the guests, AIS Hong Kong and Dulwich have started the tournament well and will be ones to watch as the competition continues tomorrow.

On the field, the conditions couldn’t be better for Rugby, with a cool breeze and softened turf following yesterday’s rain.  The round robin competition has seen NAIS Pudong play four games today, warming up and looking stronger as the day progressed. After facing LFS and NLCS Jeju, and unfortunately losing both 26-10 and 27-5, they came back with a strong win against SCIS HQ, taking the game 17-12 before going on to lose to Dulwich.

A contingent of parents has added their support from the sidelines, joined by students during break and lunchtime. The competition continues tomorrow Saturday 31st October, and we hope to see many more supporters cheering on the NAIS Pudong Tigers.
