The Careers and University Fair 2015

The British International School Shanghai, Pudong University and Careers Fair 2015 will take place on Friday 13th March 3.15 – 5.30pm in the B Block Sports Hall.

There are over 50 universities and 30 companies participating in this year’s event and so it promises to be a University and Careers Fair of incredible worth. The universities represented are from all over the world and the companies represent a wide range of career interests.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for students and parents to find out more about universities, their courses and importantly what they look for in an applicant. Talking to the company representatives will help students to confirm their career ideas and explore new ones. The fair is carefully timed to support students and their families at key decision making points in their school career. Middle School students are building the foundation for their IGCSEs. Upper School students are preparing for IGCSEs, work experience and making crucial decisions about their International Baccalaureate subjects. Our Year 12s are beginning the process of preparing for university applications and our Year 13s are finalising their ideas about where they will move onto when they finish their final IB exams.

So, whether you are at the beginning, middle or nearing the end of this decision making process, there will be something at the fair for you.

One of the highlights of the fair will be our keynote speaker from a company that has quite literally helped to shape and define the age that we live in, Apple.
