Perfect Day at Family Picnic 2015

More than 500 people came along to this year’s Family Picnic on Sunday 20th September, ready for a wonderful day of “Music on the Lawn” and lots of fun activities hosted by our students.

The weather was perfect, with a gentle autumn breeze keeping everyone cool as parents and children laid out their picnic rugs and baskets and enjoyed good company, great music from FLY Band and a fabulous selection of food.

We were very pleased to welcome Pret a Manger to the event, their first outside catering, and they were a huge hit serving up their signature tasty sandwiches, coffees and iced teas.  Thanks to Jinqiao Arena who also entertained the children with a penalty shootout.

Our Year 12 students took the opportunity to do some Project Week fundraising, to complete worthy projects when they venture to Two Moon Bay in November. The students hosted international food and healthy treats food stalls, as well as activities such as an obstacle course and egg challenge. They also sold NAIS Pudong Tigers wristbands.

The Year 7s also began their Project Week fundraising with a secondhand book stall and soft drink stand.

The Face Painting and Nail Bar was a big hit and a special thanks to Louise, Hazel and Charlie for helping out.

You can view more photos on our NAIS Pudong Facebook page. Take a look here.
