Message from Secondary - 11th November

Thank you for attending our wonderful Bonfire Night celebration last weekend! Once again the bonfire and the fireworks dazzled us all and the new floodlights were a great addition to the overall ambience. Thank you to all of our vendors and a special mention to our service students who continue to work hard to raise money for the Tanzania project.

Message from Secondary

Thank you for attending our wonderful Bonfire Night celebration last weekend! Once again the bonfire and the fireworks dazzled us all and the new floodlights were a great addition to the overall ambience. Thank you to all of our vendors and a special mention to our service students who continue to work hard to raise money for the Tanzania project.

We have enjoyed welcoming our students back to school this week and hearing of their adventures on Project Week. They arrived back to a short but nonetheless busy week with many of our students traveling to Manila with our PE staff for the Under 15 FOBISIA Games. We are very proud of the roaring NAIS Tiger spirit that they are showing in the extremely warm conditions.

Our teachers have enjoyed the opportunity to undertake some professional learning during the staff training day today. They have been working together to learn about the new IB requirements for the Extended Essay as well as investigating and developing current practice through our Teaching and Learning Project.

Next Tuesday we are delighted to be welcoming visiting author David Greenberg to school who will spend time with Year 7-9 students. David will also present a family session at 6pm on Tuesday evening where he will read poems, show pictures and present a family writing exercise that he promises will be fun and suited to all language abilities. We hope to see you there!

Best wishes,

Therese Andrews and Carol Camargo
