Message from Secondary

Our first Assessment Cycle of the year got underway this week and the students are coping well with the additional pressures they face. We wish them luck as they enter the second week and look forward to sharing the results with you along with their reports at the end of term.

We were delighted with the work that our Year 13 students did to organize the NAISMUN Conference last weekend. Their organisation and attention to detail was outstanding and we are especially proud of Ashley and Diether (Secretary-Generals) and Mathilde (Deputy Secretary-General) for their efforts over the last few months to establish such an important event in the NAIS Pudong calendar.

As we mentioned last week, we were delighted with the results of our hacking the tube competition for the MIT trip. We are pleased to announce that the four students who will represent NAIS Pudong at MIT in 2017 are:

  • Phoebe McLuskie (Year 7) – with her ‘PhoebePhone’ hack
  • Jada Chen (Year 6) – with her sundial hack
  • SeungWoo Lee  (Year 6) – with his emotions robot hack
  • Conlan Morton (Year 6) – with his working car hack.

We look forward to seeing our Year 9 and 11 parents along with their children at our annual Options Evening on Wednesday 30th November in C block from 5-8pm. The details are as follows:
