Overview of next week’s learning

During the first week of Term 2 the Nursery children will be introduced to the idea of opposites through the popular children’s book Dinosaur Roar by Paul Stickland. As part of our maths activities the children will investigate size opposites, such as, short and long, big and small and tall and short with dinosaur small world creatures. Through small group discussion we will explore the emotions ‘happy’ and ‘sad’ and will work together to create a picture wall or class book around these two emotions.
