Year 10 News - 19 February

First of all, a happy Chinese New Year to you all and hope you had a lovely holiday! The Year of the Monkey has arrived and we celebrated at NAIS Pudong in style. Along with the whole school events that were put on, the Secondary school hosted their own CNY assembly. Some of the students from Year 10 featured in the assembly and I would like to say well done to all those involved. A special well done to Ticiano for hosting in two languages, and to Sylvia for playing some traditional Chinese music. Both students are pictured.

Now that the celebrations are over, it is time for students in Year 10 to turn their attention to assessment cycle 2 of 3 of the academic year. Year 10 students are now well into their IGCSE courses and will be looking to continue improving their grades. The assessment period in all subjects will commence on Wednesday 24th February and end on Friday 4th March. Please can you do all you can to support your son/daughter in the build up to and completion of these assessments. While they are not formal exams, they are a strong indication of current levels and progress. Grades will then be released in due course following the assessments and will be formally recorded on the next round of reports.

The exam timetable is detailed below for your convenience. If you have any questions, as always please do not hesitate to contact me.
