Letter from the Director of Sport and CCAs - 4th February

Well done to our NAIS Pudong Tiger Sharks Swim Team for coming 8th overall in the FOBISlA swim meet hosted at the British International School, Phuket. This was a great achievement and all the swimmers who attended the meet broke their personal bests. Please do have a look at the separate tournament report and photos from Mrs. Howell on the school website here.

U9 & U11 Rugby Away at Shanghai Rugby Club – report from last weekend

This week the weather was kind to us and we finally got to start our season, hosted by the Seahorses Japanese Rugby Club and the Hairy Crabs Rugby Club.

Our Under 11s played two games and we held our own against the Hairy Crabs but found the Seahorses too strong for us on this occasion.

The Under 9s played four games against the same opposition and gave a very good account of themselves. All of the boys did fantastically well but special mention is needed for ‘tackling demons’ Neil, Kai and Oliver and to Inosuke who relished the chance to play for the school against his home club the Seahorses. All of our new Year 3s also did exceptionally well in their first ever game. We had a great day and Rugby and sportsmanship was the winner.
