Careers and University Fair 2016

Keep Calm and Career On! The theme of this year’s Careers and University Fair says it all. With so many options and study and career choices available, it is important for students to keep a level head and explore the wealth of opportunities open to them.

  • Careers Fair

From media to medicine, foreign affairs to finance, this year’s fair is a chance for both students and parents to take a good look at the opportunities available to them and seek guidance for the decision-making process.  Universities from around the world, including the University of Sydney, University of British Columbia, Trinity College Dublin, Manchester University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Les Roches International School of Hotel Management will provide up-to-the-minute information about course requirements and enrollments, while professionals in a range of fields will give their own advice about course choices and career paths.

This informative afternoon will also feature workshops and a “Women in Business in China” panel with special guests, Christele Voulaz, Retail Merchandising Director for Hermes Greater China; pioneering Shanghai restaurateur, Michelle Garnaut from M on the Bund; social enterprise entrepreneur, Carol Chyau from SHOKAY; and Agnes Cohade, co-founder of Shanghai Art+ Gallery.

Industry workshops during the event will include:

Finance – Mr Bruno Francois, Head of Transaction Banking Greater China at BNP Paribas

Fashion Design – International Fashion Academy Paris

Professional Sport – Michelle Aboro, two times world boxing champion and owner Aboro Academy
