Going on a Bear Hunt

Pre-Nursery Giraffe class has started our new topic “Bears”. It was a great start to the week to play and learn with our good friends the teddy bears in our class. The teddy bears were also accompanied by other bears.

We enjoyed learning through many different activities. It was fun to find and know information about bears in our Circle Time activity. We went through different books and also watched some exciting videos about bears. Bears also helped us to learn our numbers and sharpen our counting skills by playing games such as Feed the Teddy Bear as per the given numbers, Bear Roll N’ Count and Bear Roll N’ Stamp.

We are very brave, so we went for a bear hunt and also came to know bears through the stories “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” and “We’re going on a Bear Hunt”. We learnt many different words through these stories and it helped us to develop our thinking skills.

After looking at the bears, we decided to make our own bears and also tried to draw the bears. We also made ‘mud’ and created a cave for the bears with mud painting. It’s not the end, still the journey continues and we are looking forward to more exciting learning activities.
