In English this week, the children will continue their exploration of the story 'The Tin Forest.' The children will receive a cryptic message from the aliens and a map. Their task will be to investigate the symbols and clues.  They will write a detailed description about the alien world. The children will use an app called ‘Puppet Pals’ to record their work!

Mathematics
The Mathematics skill we will be revisiting this week is time. The children will recap reading and recording the time to the hour, half past, quarter past and quarter to. They will solve worded time problems.

During the oral mental starters there will be a recap of all the times tables’, number sequences and missing number equations.

Topic
The Personal Goal we will be focusing on this week is ‘adaptability’

‘As Artists’ The children will paint a landscape image of the alien skyline/scenery, adding the trees they drew and labelled to the painting.

'As Geographers' they will create their own maps of a new alien world using co-ordinates.
