Overview of Learning

During the run up to Chinese New Year, the children will be finding out about different celebrations. They will learn all about the different traditions and the history of Chinese New Year. There will be lots of opportunities to develop their art and design skills with the exciting creative activities they will be taking part in. On Wednesday we will be having a Chinese Cultural Day, where the Mandarin teachers have planned some engaging learning opportunities, including making their own dumplings. We finish the week off on Thursday with a dress up day, where the children can come into school in traditional Chinese clothes or wearing something red. What a fantastic way to end a short but exciting half term.
