Message from Secondary - 24th February

It has been a truly inspiring day today at NAIS Pudong. The Year 7-9 students participated in the Nord Anglia Global Challenge with enthusiasm, finding STEAM based solutions to the world’s problems as identified by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Members of our choir participated in Nord Anglia’s Virtual Choir and recorded their part which will form part of the final piece, which will represent all of the Nord Anglia schools. We also had the U13 FOBISIA Squad travel to Wellington College for the SCL Athletics Meet, illustrating the breadth of talent we have here at NAIS.

We held a successful Extended Essay Evening on Tuesday for our Year 12 parents. Mr Graham and Mrs Whiteson presented on the structure and timeline for this important core component of the IB Diploma. We look forward to working with these students on their Extended Essay journey.

We have another busy weekend at school with continuing rehearsals for Into the Woods (we hope you’ve got your tickets!), the TOK essay day and more sport taking place. We are so proud of all of our students for their participation in these activities.

We would like to remind you that the school calendar was revised at the beginning of the academic year and the 3rd and 6th of March are now regular school days. Please view our calendar online here. Additionally, Assessment Cycle 2 will be taking place between 6th-17th March. Please check your emails for these schedules.

Best wishes,

Carol Camargo and Therese Andrews
