Information and Reminders

In the Early Years and Primary school, we are encouraging all of our students to look super smart in their uniforms and would really like your help to ensure this.

Please could you make sure your child has a school cardigan or jumper to wear in the colder weather and avoid using non-school items, as children will be asked to remove these. Also, girls should wear black tights to keep warm and avoid wearing leggings. If your child wants to wear extra layers to keep warm in the colder weather, please ensure these are in keeping with the school uniform colours.

As it is still cold, all children should bring a warm coat to school so they can go outside at break and lunchtimes.

Topic

As historians we will continue our work on People From The Past; we will look at the Explorer Marco Polo and his journey to China, and the objects he discovered.

We will then be blasting up to space and using a range of sources to find out about the astronaut Neil Armstrong. As a whole class we will discuss the impact that explorers have had on discovering the world around us. Is there any where left to discover?
