Message from Secondary - 28th April

It’s the end of another busy week! We started the week on a high when we welcomed the two winning ACAMIS teams back to school after their victories in Beijing and celebrated an outstanding year of sport for the Year 10-13 students at their Sports Awards on Monday night. Congratulations to all of our sportsmen and women – we’re very proud of what they have achieved this year and demonstrated their fighting Tiger spirit!

On Wednesday we had the House Choir competition and saw some excellent performances from all of the Houses in the C block foyer. We said goodbye to Year 13 yesterday as they now go on study leave during their exam period.  We enjoyed seeing them dressed up in their old school uniforms and celebrating their time at NAIS Pudong. We wish them well as their exams get underway and look forward to some more celebrations at their Cap and Gown event.

We also welcomed our new Head of Secondary, Andy Joy to school on Wednesday when he presented a workshop on Mindset to parents. We hope that you enjoyed this and we will welcome Andy to NAIS again on 12th May for the coffee morning.

This weekend sees our four STEAM students head off to MIT – we can’t wait to hear what they get up to next week! We also hope to see all students from Year 6 and up at the Music Festival on 7th May, it promises to be a great event!

Best wishes for a lovely weekend,

Therese Andrews and Carol Camargo
