Message from Secondary

The Year 11 and 13 students have sat a lot of exams this week! They have been working extremely hard and been keeping very focused; the end is nearly in sight for Year 13 while the Year 11 students have got a little further to go. We hope that they can maintain their current momentum!

We were delighted to welcome Phoebe Mcluskie back to school on Monday after attending the MIT trip. She and the three Year 6 students had a brilliant week in Boston and we hope that you enjoyed the updates that came to you through our social media channels.

We enjoyed seeing you all on Tuesday evening for the Introduction to Higher Education talk that took place in the IB Academy. We hope that you found it useful in terms of supporting your child through their next steps.

Year 12 have a unique CAS opportunity on Thursday of next week. We are hosting 250 students for the Primary FOBISIA event and would love to have assistance from the Year 12 students during the running of this event on Thursday. Please sign and return the letter that has been sent home.

You might also be aware that we have been set a challenge by Nord Anglia’s newest collaborative partner, UNICEF to respond to the UN Goals for Sustainable Development. As part of their work on this, students are collecting plastic bottles to build a greenhouse at school. If you have any spare bottles to donate, please send them to Miss Andrews’ office (C204).

Furthermore, we are also collecting items that could be used as prizes at the Tombola stall on Summer Fun Day. If you have any unused gifts that you would like to donate, please also bring them to C204. All contributions will be gratefully received.

Finally, we hope that you have a lovely weekend and enjoy the Dads and Kids Campout taking place on the field tomorrow!

Best wishes,

Therese Andrews and Carol Camargo
