Year 9 News - 12th May 2017

Find out what's been happening in Year 9

A word from the Year Leader.

Finally the sun is shining and we have moved to Summer time. With that comes our school uniform. Students are now no longer required to wear their blazer to school but they should still take pride in their uniform and their appearance as always. You should now be receiving an increased number of updates about happenings in school via Class Dojo. I feel as a Year leader that I have been able to get a much better insight of how exciting each day is for our students. I hope you are enjoying the updates.

In Guidance lessons, students have been working on their contribution to the Annual Year book. They have enjoyed reminiscing over the past year and collating their memories. I look forward to seeing the final editions of their pages.

Also fast approaching is our final assessment for year 9. I have included some key information that the students will need in order to prepare for the assessment. Please read this carefully and share the information with your child. We will also support their preparation for the Assessment cycle at school through our Guidance programme. Any questions please feel free to drop me an email.
