Last week we wished our Year 13s well as they embarked upon the final leg of their journeys as IB learners. The examinations started a week ago they have had a very busy week writing Business Management, Biology, Language and Mathematics papers. They are in good spirits and have reported that they have been very pleased with the papers so far! It has become a tradition at NAIS Pudong to eat bananas before each examination. This is because bananas contain vitamins, minerals such as potassium and amino acids that enhance brain function. The examination season is now in full swing with the Year 11 students joining the session having completed their first core examination today. Yesterday they celebrated reaching the end of their IGCSE courses with an assembly led by Mrs Whiteson. We have every confidence that the students are well prepared as they have worked hard all year to be ready. Their hard work has given them a solid foundation and the necessary skills to navigate the IB Diploma Programme next academic year. When they have completed their examinations in June, we look forward to celebrating this important milestone at the Year 11 prom.
Also this week we have been following the four students on the trip to MIT. So far they have been to the MIT Museum, learnt about robotics and even made some Music! Make sure to view the Facebook posts to see all the amazing things they have been doing this week. We look forward to hearing a personal account of the trip from Phoebe McLuskie, in Year 7, next week when she returns.
We would also like that the Summer Fun Day is being held on Saturday 10th June 2017 from 11am-4pm. We hope to see you all there.
