Overview of next week’s learning
We have made trumpets that we used to make loud sounds and we will continue using them to sound out words. Children will start breaking up words into sounds by being silly and singing words out loud and slow to hear the different parts of a word. We will play more speaking games to encourage children to use their words they know and speak out loud. This is aided by familiar stories and we will continue with the Hungry Caterpillar, with activities that include threading, mark making and sorting.
Please encourage your children to use their words to communicate, and to help themselves to dress.
