Overview of next week’s learning

Our focus story next week will be ‘The Very Lazy Ladybird’ by Isobel Finn and Jack Tickle. We will explore the different animals that the ladybird meets as they pass her by. We will also talk about how ladybirds move and how is that different to how caterpillars move. As part of our movement and dance we will imitate how the different animals and mini-beasts move around. In line with our story, our focus nursery rhyme will be ‘Ladybird, Ladybird’. In beginning to develop early understanding of numbers we will count spots on ladybirds.
