Overview of next week’s learning

We will learn the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  Snow White’s evil Queen Mother looks in the mirror a lot. We will make a little mirror and study our face, reinforcing the names of our body parts and trying to draw a face. We will make Dwarfs using toilet rolls and use them to practise counting and ordering the numbers 1 to 7.

We will work with patterns in our environment, for example the coloured stripes on a tablecloth or zig zags on clothing.

We will continue with fine motor exercises to get our little fingers drawing circles and lines to prepare us to start writing numbers and letters.

Please can you send in any used toilet rolls for us.
