Summer School 2017 is in Full Swing!

On Monday this week, lots of eager students and parents were welcomed by the Summer School teachers and TAs for the start of NAIS Summer School 2017.

Assigned to different themed classes, the students spent the morning getting to know their peers and our staff, and soon the school was alive with fun, creative activities, and enjoyable learning.

Students were doing handwriting, learning new vocabulary, finding out about different topics like robots, animals, monsters, outer space, underwater creatures, toys and teddies – and it wasn’t long before some amazing arts and crafts were being created.

Plus, our students have enjoyed learning sporting skills during their PE lessons, getting to grips with games like tennis, badminton and football.

Also, during their play times, they have had a great time outside playing with Frisbees, table tennis, footballs, hula hoops and skipping ropes. It has been lovely watching them enjoy themselves so much.

When the air quality was not so good or it was raining, we stayed indoors and had fun using Lego sets, construction games, puzzles and playdough.

Many thanks all the parents and students, plus all the TAs and teachers and everyone else involved in making the first week such a fun and relaxing one for everyone.

We are looking forward to more creative joy next week.
