Message from Secondary

With the majority of formal assessments now complete, students have been busy reflecting on their performances and working with their teachers to develop a list of strengths and areas for development. As we get closer to the end of term , we are all looking forward to our collaboration days where students will be undertaking STEAM learning aligning our MIT collaboration, performances aligning with our Juilliard collaboration and a Model UN Conference aligning with our UNICEF collaboration. Preparations for this have begun and we’re excited to see what the students produce!

Year 12 start their Group 4 Projects and then go into their Core Focus learning next week. This is a crucial time for the students to consolidate their learning for the year so that they can have a productive summer before the demands of Year 13.

We also have four students travelling to New York for the UNICEF Global Goals Summit in the summer. They have been working hard to prepare for this trip and ensure that they are excellent ambassadors for NAIS Pudong. Sammi Huang in Year 13 is one of only eight Nord Anglia students who has been selected to present to Diplomats at the UN High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development during the trip. We wish her and the other three students attending the trip good luck!

We also have six students and Mrs Malcolm-Severn departing for Les Martinets tomorrow evening. They will be trekking in the Swiss Alps and staying in Nord Anglia’s chalet. We wish them a safe and enjoyable trip and can’t wait to see the photos!

Best wishes,

Therese Andrews and Carol Camargo
