Year 2 Castle Day

In connection with their topic on ‘Castles’ this term, the students in Year 2 have been looking at castles around the world, different types of castles, the features of a castle and life inside a castle.

During their ‘Castles Day’ on Thursday 26th March, the students will take part in activities relating to life styles and events that would have occurred during medieval times. These will include castle building, making hats and crowns, building a trebuchet and traditional castle music and dance. The day will finish with a scrumptious feast featuring medieval era delicacies!

Year 2 students are invited to come to school in appropriate costumes on this day.

Please contact your child's class teacher if you have any questions.
