Later, he became a lecturer at a technical college, teaching students about site management, surveying and building techniques. He enjoyed this job so much he took a four-year BEd honours Design Technology and ICT degree. During his career, he has worked not only as a DT teacher and ICT teacher, but also as curriculum leader for large faculties in both areas in some very outstanding and forward thinking schools. Teacher of Art and Design Technology
Charline came to us from an Academy in West Sussex, UK, where she was Subject Leader for Art, Design and Technology. As well as teaching across all areas of Art and Design Technology, Charline played a key role in developing Pedagogy at the school. Here she helped to develop assessment models and teacher development as a coach.
Quality assessment and feedback is what Charline believes really allows students to thrive. Through intense planning and high expectations, Charline aims to provide the resources for students to be engaged and independent learners in her classroom, who are determined to succeed.
