Year 4 - Tanzania Charity Initiative - a Good Saturday!

Ella and Georgia from Year 4 had the great idea to use their artistic talents to make some Christmas and Greetings cards and then to go around their compound selling them to neighbours and friends. The money they raised will support the Huruna Orphanage & Maura Primary School in Tanzania.

“We thought it would be a good way to raise some money for the school charity in Tanzania and we were really happy that people liked our cards and bought them. We made nearly 300 RMB!”.

The girls are to be congratulated on giving up their time to help others but also on their initiative and organisational skills that saw them take an idea and make it happen.

Well done Ella and Georgia!
