Have Fun Wrapping Up Warm

We’ve all had a brilliant Chinese New Year with some children jetting off to Malaysia, Thailand or Bali to catch some rays but now that we are back in Shanghai and the temperature has dropped, it is time to wrap up warm.

Although the Key Stage 1 children spend most of their playtime running around, they still make sure that they put their coats, scarves, gloves and hats on before they go outside to play.

Today out on the playground we are seeing that hats are a very popular way to keep warm and the Year 1 and Year 2 children have been showing their teachers how to look cool and keep toasty in the snow that's started falling!

We’ve seen woolly hats with horns, fleece head bands, star shaped ear muffs, bobble hats, hats with ears, hats with fur and lots of other kinds of hats on the playground keeping heads and ears warm. What a great way to look good and stay warm Key Stage 1!

Please do make sure that in this cold weather that children come to school with the right clothing to coat, scarf, gloves and hat

- Marie Monro, Head of Key Stage 1
