    Kate Hollins

    Kate graduated from Wellington College of Education as an Early Years specialist teacher. She taught for five years in New Zealand and went on to manage Early Years Centres. Kate then moved to London where she continued her teaching career working in Nursery and Primary schools and was a coordinator of a Foundation Stage at an inner city London school.

    Kirstie Chilvers

    Kirstie graduated with a BA (Hons) in Education from Leeds Trinity and All Saints University, UK in 2009. Kirstie worked for 6 years in a Primary School in Leeds, before moving to Shanghai to teach at NAIS Pudong. Kirstie is a firm believer that there are no limits to what children can achieve and her classroom environment is full of encouragement and positivity.

    Elizabeth Hastings

    Elizabeth graduated from the University of Glasgow, UK in 2007 with a B.Ed. (Hons), specialising in Expressive Arts. She has taught a range of stages across the Primary Sector, gaining a sound understanding of how children learn.  In September 2011 she was promoted to Principal Teacher of her school’s Infant Department. In this post she developed Playful Pedagogy across the Early Stages and supported the Senior Leadership Team with the strategic development of the whole school.

    Susan Robertson

    Nursery Class Teacher

    Susan Robertson

    Susan qualified from the University of Paisley, Scotland as a primary teacher in June 2005. Since then she has taught mainly in the Early Years setting in Scotland. In August 2013, Susan moved to Spain where she taught for one year as an Early Years teacher. This gave her valuable experience of working with EAL children. In August 2014, Susan moved to Egypt where she taught a Reception class for one and a half years. She decided to move to Shanghai with her family because she wanted to teach in a Nord Anglia school and BISS Puxi looks like a wonderful community to be a part of.
